Risk Disclosure

Trading loses people money. Read this before you use any number from this site in a live account.
Trading is risky
Futures, forex, stocks, options, and crypto all carry a substantial risk of loss. You can lose more than you put in with leveraged products. Past performance of any setup, pattern, or strategy says nothing certain about what happens next. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Educational use only
Every calculator, trainer, and reference page on Trading Ranges exists to teach and to help you plan. None of it is investment advice, a trade recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any instrument. We are not registered as a broker, dealer, investment advisor, or commodity trading advisor in any jurisdiction.
The math has limits
Calculators here use textbook formulas with simplifying assumptions: constant volatility, normal distributions, honored stops, zero slippage, independent trades. Markets break every one of those assumptions on a regular basis. A projected range is not a boundary. A risk-of-ruin figure is a model, not a promise. Treat every output as a starting point for your own judgment.
Synthetic charts
Trainers on this site draw synthetic price bars built to show textbook patterns. They are not historical data from any market. Setups that look clean in a trainer show up messier, rarer, and with lower hit rates on a live chart.
Hypothetical results
Any performance figure produced by a tool here is hypothetical. Hypothetical results have built-in limitations. They're prepared with hindsight, they don't include the effect of financial risk on your decision making, and they don't account for slippage, liquidity, fees, or the fact that no trade was executed. No claim is made that any account will or is likely to achieve results similar to those shown.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for every trade you take, every position size you choose, and every stop you set or skip. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions if you're unsure. If a tool here disagrees with your broker's platform, trust the platform and tell us about the difference.
