Terms of Use

Last updated September 5, 2026

You're welcome to use every tool here, for free, for as long as the site is up. Here's the deal that comes with that.

What this site is

Trading Ranges is a collection of calculators, trainers, and reference tools built around trading ranges. They're for learning and planning. They are not a brokerage, an advisory service, or a signal service, and using them doesn't make us your advisor.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. The outputs are math applied to numbers you typed in. What you do with them is your decision and your responsibility. Read the risk disclosure before you trade on anything you see here.

Accuracy

We build these tools carefully and we test them. Bugs still happen. Formulas use simplifying assumptions that markets don't always respect. Check any number that matters against a second source before you put money behind it. The tools are provided as they are, without any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Using the tools

Personal use and use inside your own trading business are fine. Linking to any page is welcome. Copying the tools to another site, selling access to them, or presenting them as your own work is not. Scraping the site with bots that hammer the server isn't either.

Changes and removal

Tools get added, rebuilt, and sometimes removed. A tool you rely on today may look different tomorrow or be gone. We don't owe anyone a particular tool or a particular feature.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Trading Ranges and the people behind it aren't liable for any loss, including trading losses, lost profits, or data loss, that comes from using or being unable to use this site. If you don't accept that, don't use the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.
