Point & Figure Box Size Calculator
Point & Figure charts move in fixed price boxes rather than time bars. Using a percentage of price (the modern approach, replacing the old fixed-dollar tables) keeps box size sensible across cheap and expensive instruments alike. Enter the price and a box percentage to get the box size and the standard 3-box reversal amount.
1% is a common default for stocks. Lower % gives finer detail, higher % filters more noise.
3-box reversal is the traditional standard. 1-box gives a more sensitive chart.
Educational tool only, not financial advice. Box size is a charting parameter, not a trading signal. Test different box sizes against your instrument's typical volatility before committing to one.
